The Parkdale Neighbourhood Land Trust (PNLT) is a community-controlled organization dedicated to preserving affordable land and housing in our neighbourhood. As part of our Annual General Meeting, members are invited to elect new representatives to our Board of Directors — the decision-making body of the Land Trust.
The Governance Committee has confirmed 7 new nominees along with 3 current board members standing for re-election. That means we have 10 candidates running for 8 available seats!
Big thanks to the Nominations Committee for guiding this process. It’s exciting to see such strong community energy — so many people stepping up to lead. Our candidates bring experience spanning social financing, journalism, community organizing for social justice, and rich, strong lived experience in both social and market rental housing.
